Hanar Restaurant, a premier destination for Anatolian cuisine, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Jr.Sous Chef to join our culinary team.. In this role, you will work closely with the Sous Chef to help oversee kitchen operations, ensure the quality of dishes, and assist in staff training and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Kitchen Operations: Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Take charge in the absence of the Sous Chef or Head Chef.
- Food Preparation: Prepare, cook, and present a variety of anatolian dishes, maintaining the restaurant's high standards for quality and taste. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines accurately.
- Staff Training and Supervision: Support the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff, ensuring they understand kitchen procedures and safety protocols. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain food quality and presentation standards. Conduct regular checks on inventory and portion sizes to maintain consistency and minimize waste.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations. Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and sanitized according to health guidelines.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the kitchen team to contribute ideas for menu items and specials, ensuring alignment with seasonal trends and customer preferences.
