AHS, a renowned leader in luxury real estate development, is seeking an experienced Interior Designer Supervisor to join our esteemed team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee and mentor a team of interior designers while ensuring that all projects reflect the high standards of design excellence that define our brand. You will manage the design process from concept to execution, ensuring that client visions are translated into stunning spaces.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of interior designers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality design work
- Lead the development of design concepts, presentations, and documentation for luxury residential projects
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and translate those into innovative design solutions
- Review and approve design proposals, materials selection, and finishes to ensure alignment with project goals
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive project implementation
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively
- Conduct site visits to oversee design execution and ensure adherence to design intent
- Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and technologies to incorporate best practices into designs
- Facilitate team meetings and presentations, fostering a collaborative and creative studio environment
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in interior design, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of completed high-end residential projects
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and other industry-standard tools
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective client presentations and team collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure
- Creative thinker with an eye for detail and a passion for innovative design
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and building regulations is a plus
- Professional certification (e.g., NCIDQ) is preferred.
