Qiddiya Investment Company is in search of a Senior Manager/Expert in Risk Management to enhance our approach to risk assessment and management across the organization. This role will be pivotal in establishing a robust risk management framework that aligns with our strategic objectives and ensures that risks are proactively identified, evaluated, and mitigated throughout all phases of project development and execution.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various departments, providing expertise in risk assessment methodologies and best practices to bolster our capacity to manage operational, financial, and strategic risks effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Formulate and lead the implementation of the Risk Management department strategy to support the achievement of QIC’s strategic objectives.

2. Lead the development and oversee the implementation of Risk Management department policies, processes, procedures and controls.

3. Develop Risk Management department budget in alignment with the organization budgetary requirements to allow effective delivery of desired objectives in collaboration with the Finance division.

4. Lead the integration of risk into key decision making and internal processes e.g. committees, investments, projects, strategy, business planning and performance management.

5. Guide the development of risk processes, models, templates, decision making frameworks etc. in order to embed Risk Management into Qiddiya operations.

6. Act as the custodian of the Risk Management and facilitate its programs across Qiddiya.

7. Promote effective Risk Management at all levels and encourage an appropriate Risk culture across Qiddiya.

8. Establish and initiate periodic revisions to the Risk Management system documentation.

9. Oversee reporting, escalation and communication of risks and issues to key stakeholders and/or committees.

10. Ensure that departmental risk registers take into consideration the core business and strategic direction of the Board.

11. Oversee the Risk Management cycle by carrying out risk identification, risk evaluation, risk mitigation, risk monitoring & reporting across the different functions at Qiddiya.

12. Provide guidance and consultative advice to the business to enable risk-informed decision making.

متطلبات الوظيفة

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field.
  • Master’s Degree in Risk Management or related field preferred.
  • 8 - 10 years of experience in risk management with a proven track record in a senior role, ideally within large-scale projects or developments.
  • In-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies in accordance with industry standards.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data analysis.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Certified Risk Manager, Project Management Professional) are highly desirable.
