Head Of Data

As the Head of Data, you will spearhead our data strategy and AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

You will own the data platform, lead AI R&D, and act as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams, transforming data into actionable insights.

This role demands a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and stakeholder management to foster a data-centric culture across global operations.

What you need to do:

Data Strategy & Governance

● Develop and execute a data strategy aligned with business goals.

● Implement robust data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance and quality.

● Establish policies for data management, security, and privacy.

Data Platform Ownership

● Oversee the data warehouse, big data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Looker, Clickhouse) , and ETL processes.

● Ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency of data infrastructure.

● Partner with engineering to build pipelines for prompt engineering, vector databases, and real-time inference.

AI R&D Leadership

● Drive AI/ML innovation in lending, risk management, and operational automation.

● Identify use cases, prototype solutions, and deploy models into production.

● Evaluate, fine-tune, and deploy Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.

● Integrate generative AI into data products, analytics workflows, and customer-facing tools.

● Stay current with advancements in foundation models, open-source ecosystems, and AI infrastructure.

● Ensure ethical use, interpretability, and monitoring of the performance of published models.

Stakeholder Partnership

● Act as a Data Business Partner for Product, Sales, Finance, and Operations.

● Translate business needs into technical requirements, architecture design, and project roadmaps.

● Manage stakeholder expectations and deliver data solutions on time.

Team Leadership & Agile Execution

● Lead data engineers, scientists, and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation.

● Implement agile methodologies to prioritize tasks and accelerate delivery.

● Coordinate with teams for development, testing, and maintenance.

Global Expansion Support

● Design data architectures that support multi-regional scalability.

● Address regulatory and cultural challenges in new markets.
