Manages and maintains an efficient inbound material pipeline to support plant production schedules and meet customer service objectives. Minimizes supply costs by ensuring an efficient clearance process and diligently following up on all steps to avoid additional fees, such as demurrage and storage. Ensures compliance with local and international clearance and shipment regulations.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Ensure customs procedures, compliance processes, and activities adhere to GSK policies, procedures, and governmental regulations.
  • Monitor, track, and communicate the progress of inbound shipments to provide efficient and timely updates.
  • Manage clearance documentation cycles for all IDC, MOH, and Customs documents, including preparation and revision before submission.
  • Conduct daily follow-ups with shipping agents, SASO, and SFDA to expedite document approvals.
  • Perform daily follow-ups with brokers and service providers regarding shipment status.
  • Manage invoices related to brokers and freight forwarders for the Jeddah site.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse to resolve receiving issues.
  • Prepare and publish a weekly plan of inbound shipments for the Jeddah site.
  • Identify and implement internal process improvements and new ideas to enhance service.
  • Ensure the inbound logistics database is consistently updated with accurate information.
  • Manage the daily and monthly brokerage compliance reports and report variations with necessary actions.
  • Provide daily and monthly updates on undertaking management status.
  • Continuously review and manage the SAP system, including transaction oversight and hazardous materials management, along with 3PL stock management.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain / Business
  • Preference will be given to Saudi nationals
  • Knowledgeable in regulatory guidelines for pharmaceutical import operations
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficient in English
  • 1 year of relevant experience
  • Skilled in planning and scheduling processe
  • Knowledgeable in SAP
  • Strong communication skills
  • Technical Acumen (Thinking, Reasoning, Logic)
  • Excellent building relationship ability to establish effective relationships at all levels across the organization
  • Strong teamwork with an ability to interact with people across all functions and levels within the organization
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
