We are seeking a dynamic Middle School English Teacher to teach grades 6-8.
Key Responsibilities
– Plan and deliver comprehensive English lessons that focus on developing students’ skills in language, writing, listening, reading, and speaking, in alignment with the school’s curriculum.
– Create engaging activities and assignments that encourage students to improve their grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills in both written and spoken English.
– Assess and monitor student progress through regular tests, essays, and presentations, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
– Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages participation, critical thinking, and effective communication.
– Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary projects and maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and areas of development.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in English or Education
– 2+ years of teaching experience
– Strong classroom management and communication skills
