RISE Sport Culture Entertainment (SCE) is an independent sponsorship and commercial services consultancy. We work with clients to maximise business and brand returns on their sponsorships and investments, by providing a range of services tailored specifically towards achieving commercial objectives.

This is a unique opportunity to join RISE SCE team in Dubai and working on activations and partnerships on a diverse portfolio of client projects.

OVERVIEW

Our expertise lies in creating, implementing and activating commercial opportunities for clients in Sport, Entertainment and Culture.

Any sport, entertainment or cultural property can create valuable marketing assets as they deliver large audience numbers across a wide range of touch points. However, very few asset owners know their true commercial worth. Our insight-led approach helps both sponsors and rights owners to uncover and develop commercial opportunities and create a platform to promote, market or directly commercialise their products and services to those audiences.

REQUIREMENT

RISE is seeking a highly motivated and creative individual, to join our sports marketing team as a Social Media Specialist – Sports Partnerships. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in marketing and communicating innovative partnerships and brand activation strategies and support in the delivery of events. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and vendors to market activations with industry leading clients.

Candidates should be fluent in Arabic (spoken & written) possess excellent management skills, have a strong knowledge of marketing and social media, and be university educated, ideally in the fields or marketing, events, media or management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidate has a passion for sport, a comprehensive understanding of branding and marketing, and a can do attitude.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Create outstanding and engaging content, including social media posts, videos, and creative assets in Arabic and English
  • Draft client reports, including but not limited to, status updates, meeting minutes and PowerPoint presentations
  • Support in execution of sponsorship commitments, including branding integration, activation events, and post-event reporting
  • Liaise with external agencies, vendors, and partners to coordinate logistics, resources, and deliverables for events and campaigns
  • Ensure all databases and administrative procedures, including budget sheets are up to date
  • Support in creative development for client proposals
  • Assist in conceptualising and executing experiential marketing initiatives and promotions
  • Manage the client-property approvals process and monitor client brand visibility across digital and physical assets
  • Execute research tasks and monitor sports related daily news reports

Ultimately, a successful candidate will need to work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates interested in this position must have:

  • A University Degree from an internationally recognized institution
  • 1-3 years of experience in social media marketing 
  • Strong ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups
  • Excellent time management, written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel & Word
  • Ability to multi-task while under pressure
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge quickly
