About the role


The Budgetary Control (Dynamics 365 ERP – Accounting Consultant) will be responsible for implementing and managing budget control processes within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system. This role involves monitoring budget allocations, approvals, and spending limits, as well as working with department heads to analyze variances and provide insights. The consultant will assist in financial forecasting, cost optimization, and ensure real-time tracking of budget spending. Additionally, they will support integration between budget control, procurement, and accounts payable systems, troubleshoot ERP-related budget discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company policies and IFRS standards.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Implement and manage budget control processes in Dynamics 365 ERP as a launch project.
  • Monitor budget allocations, approvals, and spending limits.
  • Work with department heads to analyze budget variances and provide insights.
  • Assist in forecasting, financial planning, and cost optimization.
  • Maintain real-time tracking dashboards for budget spending.
  • Support integration between budget control, procurement, and accounts payable.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related budget discrepancies.
  • Ensure financial transactions comply with company policies and IFRS standards.
  • Work closely with procurement and finance teams to enforce spending policies.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and IT teams for enhancement
  • Support the Finance team in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in budgetary control.
  • ERP Expertise: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Budget & Cost Control Modules).
  • Financial Skills: Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, variance analysis, and forecasting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and ERP system reporting.
