Senior GL Accountant

About the company:

Shift EV is a fast-growing electric vehicle technology company, based in Cairo, Egypt. Our

vision is to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in Egypt and the region by developing

state-of-the-art electric drivetrain solutions. You will work with world-class technology veterans

from MIT, the University of Grenoble, Intel, and Corning to build a venture with transformative

potential.

What you will Do:

• Record Journal entries.
• Monthly closing cycle.
• All accounting modules maintaining – A/R & A/P -
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Review and reconcile employee cash advances.
• Assist the financial department with external audit requirements.
• Fixed Assets register.
  
  
  

Who You are:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 2-4 Years of Experience in Accounting
• ERP User preferred SAP
• Excellent knowledge and working with Microsoft Excel
• Detailed oriented
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Aware of cost allocation and types
• Aware of VAT, with-holding taxes submission
