Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with a strong background in banking domain QA tasks. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in QA and testing, with specific expertise in areas such as Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Lending, Payments, and GL Accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and preparing QA strategies, QA plans, and ensuring comprehensive coverage of both functional and non-functional requirements, including data migration, performance testing, and stress testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- QA Strategy & Planning:
Design and prepare detailed Quality Assurance Strategies, QA Plans, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of both functional and non-functional requirements, including data migration and reconciliation between the source and destination systems. - Non-Functional Testing:
Conduct Performance Testing, Stress Testing, and other non-functional QA activities to assess system behavior under varying conditions. - Test Execution & Reporting:
Prepare Test Execution Reports and Defect Reports. Maintain and update the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure complete traceability of requirements through the QA process. - Test Data Preparation:
Participate in the preparation of Test Data to ensure valid QA scenarios and comprehensive test coverage for different system configurations. - QA Process Improvement:
Provide valuable input into the development and continuous improvement of Quality Assurance processes, ensuring best practices are followed in all phases of QA and testing. - Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers, to ensure seamless QA execution and issue resolution.
