Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations for a client in the financial services sector at ADGM. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial services operations, and a commitment to ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize daily operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational procedures to improve workflow and service delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of processes.
- Ensure all operations comply with ADGM and UAE regulatory standards, including AML, KYC, and other financial services regulations.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and adjust processes accordingly.
- Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and legal advisors as needed.
- Lead and manage the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and training to enhance team performance.
- Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics for team members.
- Oversee relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring optimal performance and value.
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to meet operational needs.
- Monitor and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining service quality.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing robust control measures and contingency plans.
- Collaborate with IT and digital teams to implement and optimize operational technologies.
- Drive automation initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce manual dependencies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, including KPIs, SLAs, and compliance metrics.
- Conduct root cause analyses of operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 8-10 years of experience in operations management within the financial services or banking sector.
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving operational efficiency.
- Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in operational software, financial tools, and project management systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
