Experience: 2-3 years of experience (Banking experience preferred)
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer with minimum 2-3 years of experience to join our team. The primary responsibility will be to manage and execute the upgrade of our endpoints to Windows 11 and Laptop Tech Refresh. This role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth transition for all users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Upgrade Management: Plan, manage, and execute the upgrade of desktop systems to Windows 11.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to users experiencing issues with the upgrade process.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to the Windows 11 upgrade.
- Installation: Install and configure Windows 11 on new and existing systems.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of upgrade processes, issues encountered, and solutions implemented.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless upgrades and minimal disruption to business.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer
- Hands-on experience with Windows operating systems, particularly Windows 11.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear instructions to users.
- Familiarity with remote troubleshooting techniques.
- Knowledge of security best-practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with software deployment tools.
- Knowledge of scripting languages for automation.
- Certification such as M365 Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate
