About the role


Accounting Manager oversees the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and the efficient processing of transactions. Manage a team of accountants and ensure adherence to tax laws and internal controls. The role also involves leading month-end and year-end closings, conducting account reconciliations, and providing financial analysis to support decision-making within the organization. Strong leadership, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles are essential for success in this role.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement and execute adequate systems of internal controls in line with the company directions; Recommend any necessary procedures to enhance the internal control environment
  • Direct and monitor a variety of accounting activities to ensure that the organization’s financial resources are managed in accordance with accounting principles and comply with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards. These activities include accounts payable and receivable; payroll; general ledger maintenance; revenue, and asset accounting
  • Verify the accuracy of the accounting transactions by reviewing and approving the daily and periodic work of accountants in preparing general ledger entries, entries posting, accounts payables, accounts receivables, fixed assets, account reconciliation, monthly trial balance, payroll, accounting and financial reporting activities
  • Provide technical expertise and advice on complex accounting issues, such as supplier prices and project cost escalations, to management to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities
  • Ensure accuracy and timely approval of variety of accounting activities
